CHIAROSCURO – SS’18 COLLECTION.

Every time of day and its specific light affect how we perceive the colours. It is the play of light, colours and shadows that inspired the spring-summer LOUS collection – CHIAROSCURO. The photo shoot of the collection took place in the picturesque town of Peschiera del Garda, located by the largest and cleanest lake in Italy surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks.

If the black colour has up to 6 shades, how many shades of colours are in the world? Infinitely many. Each eye registers colours differently, every person sees colours differently, it happens that calls them differently. There are no specific colours in the "Chiaroscuro" collection, only their shades. Probably the selection of their names may be debatable, because it was developed subjectively based on the Pantone colour book at noon. And yet every time of the day and its specific light affects how we perceive colours – what we perceive as bluish in the morning light, sometimes it is green at sunset.

This game of light, colours and shadows became an inspiration for creating collection – this time the colour inspired a particular design – how the specific shade and softness of the fabric works in the light. The collection will include blacks, unobvious whitewashed turquoise and pink, as well as a mix of all colours in a print and jeans. Chiaroscuro is a word that in English and Italian means the same and this time it was Italy that we chose for our photo shoot, and the more specifically picturesque town of Peschiera del Garda located by the largest and the cleanest lake in Italy surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks.
